Efficient Oxygen Permeation Testing of Whole Packages

The new analyzer targets package permeation testing in the food, beverage and healthcare packaging industries, where knowing the precise rate of oxygen transmitting through a package at room temperature and room humidity conditions is critical to a product's shelf life. The Ox-Tran 2/48 analyzers can test the Oxygen Transmission Rate (OTR) on both films and packages from low to high barriers. The simple user interface with automated controls makes testing easy with little training.

Test More in Less Time

The Ox-Tran 2/48 offers high capacity testing with eight cells spilt into 4 conditioning cells and 4 examination cells to increase testing capacity. This parallel operation greatly increases the efficiency of the analyzer, while still providing accurate and repeatable results.

Models

This family of instruments has 2 models with different lower detection limits:

H Model (common barriers) - detection range from 0.00025 to 1 cc/package* day

L Model (high barriers) - is able to achieve a factor of 10 lower than the H Model providing a range from 0.000025 to 1 cc/package* day
