AQUATRAN 3 WVTR Analyzer

The World's Most Sensitive WVTR Analysis System

The Ametek Mocon Aquatran 3 is designed for labs that need to measure the water vapour transmission rate (WVTR) of ultra-high barrier materials.

Unparalleled Sensitivity

Using the patented Aquatrace Gold sensor, the Aquatran accurately and reliably measures WVTR levels as low as 5x10^-5 g/(m²-day) and because it is a direct measurement, you do not need to worry about calibration.

With its revamped user interface, operators will spend less time on setting up tests and the simplified testing routine means that just about anyone can perform an analysis and obtain excellent results. Testing can be as simple as loading a sample and pressing the start button!

ASTM F3299 or F1249?

Often, we are asked "which method should we use?" and the answer is: it depends.
